No account required

You can play the entire game without signing up, signing in, or giving us any personal information. We never ask for your real name, address, or phone number.

Data stored in your browser

Your personal best for each difficulty is saved in your browser's local storage and is not sent to our servers. If you enter a display name for an optional leaderboard submission, we save it in browser storage so it can be filled in next time. Clearing this site's browser data removes these local records and the saved display name.

Data you choose to submit

When you submit a score to the online leaderboard, we store only the display name you typed, the score, the difficulty, and the submission timestamp. We do not store email addresses or account identifiers alongside leaderboard entries. Submitted scores are public: they are shown on the daily and all-time boards. Please do not use a display name that reveals personal information.

Bot protection

Score submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which verifies that the submission comes from a real visitor rather than an automated script. Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser characteristics for this check. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for details.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand site visits and game use. In addition to page views, the game sends events for starting and finishing a run, including its difficulty, score, finish reason, and time limit. It also sends the score and difficulty when you share a score or submit one to the leaderboard. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect technical and usage data such as approximate location and device type. We do not intentionally send your display name or contact information to Google Analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising

Google AdSense may display ads on informational pages of this site, including this game guide. Ad code and ad placements are not included in the countdown, active game, or result screens. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. More information is available in Google's advertising policies.

Children

30s Math is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted identifying information as a display name, contact us and we will remove it.

Your choices

• Play without submitting a score — nothing is sent to our servers.
• Clear your browser data to delete locally stored best scores.
• Block or clear cookies through your browser settings.
• Email us to have a submitted leaderboard entry removed.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
